There is something truly special about family traditions and recipes that get passed down from generation to generation. If I could go back in time and ask a thousand more questions I would.

My grandpa who passed away many years ago was a baker who owned his own little bakery in Campbell River called Pioneer Bakery! What I wouldn’t give to go back and have conversations with him about that! Who knew I would follow in his footsteps one day.

The scones I make for this business all stem from a cherished tradition that my grandparents passed down to their children and now me. What a gift! It all sparks from somewhere and I am so grateful this love was passed on to me❤️
